Stephen Curry debuts a new model on NBA media day this morning in the Golden State Warriors facility. Despite his Under Armour deal, the 2-time MVP dressed up in Nike attire with the new updated jersey design and on-court socks. However, the spotlight was on Mr. Unanimous’ sneakers as he gives us the first look at the Curry 4 Low top model.
Dressed in a Home colorway or “Association” according to Nike, the new Curry 4 Lows look magnificent on foot. Looking like a lightweight guard shoe, the Curry 4 Low maintains the same look as its Curry 4 base model. Traction is the same as well as the knit upper debuting from Under Armour. The laces also intrigues me as it seems to lock the foot in for coming off screens and jetting down the court on a fast break.
As of this moment, there is news on when the sneaker will be dropping, but it should drop shortly after the Curry 4 drops. Hopefully they update the cushion as they previously had Charged and Micro G in the Curry 1-3 sneakers. Innovation is the key for Under Armour at the moment as they continue to build their brand so hopefully we get to see that this upcoming NBA season.
