Overall, the MTV VMAS didn’t offer too much in the way of major surprise moments. Obviously, Lady Gaga’s drag theme that she embraced throughout the night stole a lot of the show, but what may have surprised a lot of us was a special performance of “Otis” by Jay-Z and Kanye West. If you were keeping an eye out for it, you probably immediately noticed what Mr. West had his feet dressed in for the big night.
Rocking of new ‘Zen Grey’ colorway of the Nike Air Yeezy 2, Kanye graced the stage of the VMAS with Hova amidst a blaze of flames and smoke. If you look closely, the Zen Grey upper is complimented by a Solar Red inner lining and a real sick outsole that glows in the dark. I personally have never been a fan of Yeezy’s sneakers with Nike, but I’ve gotta admit that the pair he had on last night definitely caught my eyes.
