In the summer 1991, Michael Jordan won his first Championship in the Air Jordan VI. Even though those
colorways were close to the Chicago Bulls’ colors, we’ve come to get used to Jordan releasing different colorways and concepts. The 2014 FIFA World Cup is set to take place in Brazil. Also joining the festivities, the Jordan Brand will release an Air Jordan VI “World Cup” colorway. These will definitely embody Brazil with its green and yellow colorway. There are rumors that these will release as the VIs make up one half of the Brazil pack. Possibly a runner, expect the other pair to feature a similar colorway.

The “World Cup” VIs feature a leather upper and what looks like suede or nubuck on the toe side panels. This pair can be said to resemble the “Oreo” VIs with its speckles on the midsole but rather than white specks, these feature yellow and green speckles. Along the side, venom green will dress the other midsole panels.

Jordan’s rubber heel tabs also feature the speckles. The tongue and heel will feature a yellow Jumpman. Don’t stress if you’re a fan of accessories, as these do come with yellow lacelocks that have a green Jumpman on it. The signature Jordan VI translucent icy soles will complete the “World Cups”.

UPDATED:
Rather than coming with a runner, there have been photos of a CP3. VII AE in the “Brazil World Cup”. We’ve also included new detailed photos of the Air Jordan VI. On the day the World Cup begins, expect these to also release as the release date for both sneakers are set for Thursday, June 12, 2014.
