Ready or not, the Air Jordan 11 Legend Blues are about to be released, so for the uninitiated, we thought we’d give you a quick blast to the past to give you a better understanding of what this hype is truly about.
The Original Columbia Blue Air Jordan 11
Unlike the original Concord and Breds, MJ only wore the Columbia Blue 11s at the 1996 All-Star game, as you can see above. Following in a pattern that started with the Jordan 9 and 10, UNC colorways started to become very popular in the Jordan line, so even though Jordan wore it only once, these powder blue Air Jordan 11 would become a colorway that earned it’s sneaker legend proper.
