Remastered for $190…
Jordan Brand announced last year that they would be reproducing classic models with high quality materials and craftsmanship. I’m not as heavy on Jordans as before, but I still purchase some here and there. Ever since I got my Concords in multiple pairs, I didn’t have much of an urge for Jays anymore and I became focused on performance basketball sneakers.
These Marvin the Martian inspired AJ VII is pretty dope though. You have just enough of bright color blocking on a black canvas shoe. I do think these should have just remained a release for the kids due to the wild colorway. As far as the materials, they are slightly better than past Jordan models; the quality of the suede and leather felt like butter. Personally, my favorite part of the shoe is the Infrared Jumpman on the side panel and the different colored outsole since they make the shoes pop. The contrast of different colors is really balance but I am not a fan of the price point.
Is it worth $190? Probably not, but at least they brought the standard back up to where it should be. Check out the video above and the photos below for a closer look.
