The Air Jordan 9 features a white leather base with black accents on the tongue, laces, and back heel tab. The most eye popping characteristic is the militia green accents on the ankle lining, Jumpman, and midsole. The tongue will feature the date November 1, 1994. That happens to be the date the statue was unveiled in front of the United Center in Chicago. As we’ve learned the Jordan 9s are inspired by the copper statue. Fun fact, the statue stands at 12 feet. The current release date is scheduled for an August 2015 release. There is no exact date but we can expect these for retail for $190 USD.
