Air Jordan XI ’72-10′ | More Images

Since 2009, everyone knows the Jordan XIs were the hottest Christmas item. This year, a new colorway will drop in the XI model. With the Golden State Warriors coming close to the 72-10 record, Jordan Brand wanted to remind everyone who held the record.

These new teaser images show a ton of changes. These will feature an embossed 23 on the suede heel rather than the print that usually cracks overtime. The Jumpman also avoids being stitched and gets attached on while the classic mesh upper gets the leather treatment.

Usually the inner tongue tag says “Quality Basketball Products Inspired By The Greatest Player Ever” but these will feature “Inspired By The Most Historic Season Led By The Greatest Player Ever” on an extended tongue that looks like a scoreboard noting the 72-10 season.

It looks like they will retail at $220 which is not surprising because the Jordan XI release has continuously been higher than the average general release. Let’s be honest, it’s still cheaper than paying reseller’s pricing. Do you like the new changes? Let us know on Twitter and let’s discuss.
