adidas has making noise lately with popular models such as the Ultra Boost, Tubulars, and of course we can’t forget about the Yeezy’s. Some have forgotten about The Beard himself, James Harden as he signed late last year with the Three Stripes. The dust has settled and as we await for his upcoming signature sneaker, we have his first All-Star Game PE, the Crazy Light 2.5 “Aurora Borealis.”
Looking at this model, all I got to say is that man, adidas has BROUGHT IT. I love this colorway as it goes so well with the Northern Lights theme as Toronto, CA is hosting the All-Star Game this year. The Crazy Light Boost 2.5 itself holds such a great color blocking base with fine details of sleek lines and a mixture of details all over. Inspired by the Toronto’s vivid nightlife, neon colors and reflective Xeno technology are used with the model including glow-in-the-dark accents. adidas also equipped these 2.5’s with Primeknit and BOOST cushion technology for the ultimate basketball experience.

James Harden’s new signature logo is heat pressed onto the tongue of the sneaker, representing his jersey number and “H” altogether. Personally, I think adidas Hoops could figure out something better by adding a beard to the logo, but who knows what they’ll have in store for his signature model.
The adidas Crazy Light 2.5 “Aurora Borealis” will hit adidas on February 12, 2016.
