It’s been a story-filled year for Stephen Curry and the Warriors. 28 wins in a row, 37 point quarters, having the greatest NBA season ever with 73 wins, and a second MVP trophy for Mr. Curry himself. As great as that has been Curry is currently nursing a knee sprain, but returned in dominating fashion in Game 4. If the reports are true, Under Armour is definitely a believer in Steph and the Warriors’ odds for a second championship ring.
The Warriors aren’t even in the Finals yet, but UA is raising eyebrows in the sneaker community. Supposedly this new Curry 2 colorway is dubbed the “2 Rings.” However, there really isn’t any art, font, or pattern that clearly states “2 Rings,” so this could just be a random nickname on that sticker.

Inside on one of the tongues, it says “2015 World Champion.” The other tongue is not shown. If I could make a guess here, it’s probably a sneaker commemorating his first championship, rather than a premature second championship claim. If it was created to boast, that’s a bold move by UA.
This upcoming release is slated for June 4, 2016 for $130.00 USD. We’ll keep you posted once more information comes available.
