One of the most popular colorways in sneaker history is the Cement theme from Jordan Brand. It all started with the original Air Jordan 3 in 1988 as it single-handedly saved the relationship of Michael Jordan and Nike. Lead designer Tinker Hatfield presented this design to His Heirness and instantly won him over with this elephant inspired and unique presentation of a sneaker. Since then, the Cement series has carried over the Jordan 4 model and this weekend, we’ll see it on the Jordan 5.
The Air Jordan 5 White Cement looks a lot like the original Fire Red design due to it’s Black tongue. It arrives in retailers in a classic White, Black, and Red setting and will feel familiar to the series by Jordan enthusiasts. A white leather upper is accompanied by a 3M tongue and Red Jumpman hits throughout the shoe. And lastly, the Cement speckles cover the midsole and upper eyelets for a signature look that only Jordan Brand can complete.
If you’re looking to grab these this weekend, make sure to have $190.00 USD and some change ready. These Air Jordan 5 Cement drops on August 5, 2017 as a general release. Though plenty in numbers, these Cement 5’s may not last on shelves for too long.
