Surprisingly, the story this year in the NBA has not been the Golden State Warriors and their dominance. Teams like the Thunder, Houston, Lakers, and the continued streak of the Boston Celtics (16 as of this writing), are the buzz of the league. However the sneaker brands are also making waves especially Under Armour. Unfortunately, their release for the Curry 4 has not been as smooth as they would have wanted.
Initially pulled from retailers, the first White/Black colorway of the Under Armour Curry 4 due to a defect on the translucent toe box. Those were returned to the Under Armour factories to address the issue, however it wasn’t technically solved as some pairs still had that defect. Regardless of a spot, smudge, or any other cosmetic issue, we here at Kicksologists would still lace them sneakers on court.
Speaking of on court, Stephen Curry and Under Armour will release these ‘Home Gradient’ Curry 4’s next month. Similar to the previous UA Curry 2 Homes, this edition comes in a White knit and fuse upper with a beautiful Golden State Blue and Yellow combination that fades to white. A blue speckle ads some flavor to the high-top silhouette finished with a solid white outsole.
Under Armour got themselves a great sneaker, possibly the best Curry model yet. Many have adored the shoes design this year as the past couple models have disappointed the fans and in all honesty, the UA brand as a whole. We’ll do our best to get a hold of this sneaker as soon as possible and provide you with our in-depth performance review.
The Under Armour Curry 4 “Home Gradient” drops December 16, 2017 for $129.99 USD.
