White Del Sol Nike Zoom Kobe V Home Kicks

Nike Zoom Kobe V White/Del Sol

After a hot 8-0 start, the Lakers have cooled off a bit with their first set of back-to-back losses of the season against the Nuggets and Suns, which they rectified last night with a masterfully crafted win over the Milwaukee Bucks, a team that went into the game boasting the league’s best defense.  Kobe Bryant is still finding his way defensively as his thrice surgically repaired knee climbs closer to 100%, but his offense remains as dangerous as ever.  In terms of his kicks, he’s kept it simple, rocking the Nike Zoom Kobe V ‘Ink’ on the road and this White/Del Sol colorway at home.

This colorway has a clean white base upper with del sol yellow accents trimming out the heel end of the midsole, the heel cap, inner lining, tongue and laces.  The Swoosh border and Sheath are painted in del sol as well while the Swoosh itself and Sheath border are  both black.  The forefoot midsole is white and the isolated third color contrast comes in the form of a grey outsole, which adds a nice touch to the overall aesthetic quality.

I’m sure Mamba is dying to lace up the debut pair of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI as we all are.  However, it’s also certain that the play of his Lakers consumes his mind far more than anything else going on around him related to basketball. By the time the VI’s drop, Kobe’s knee should reliably be at 100% and we’ll see how his new kicks look on his healthy legs while he does what he’s always done – kill the competition.
