While the Nike Zoom Kobe V ‘Chaos’ that debuted about a year ago on Christmas Day against the Cleveland Cavaliers fit the bill rather perfectly, the Nike Zoom Kobe VI edition of the same Joker-themed colorway was given a much calmer look, perhaps suggestive of and more focused upon the rage and insanity that boils within the Dark Knight’s arch nemesis.
The reptile skin upper is painted in light grey with purple accents that stand out on the Swoosh, outsole and inner lining. White also makes its way onto the shoe via the tongue, laces and outsole while red provides a touch of contrast on the tongue’s Sheath. The midsole is touched up with grey and white as this new version of ‘Chaos’ expresses a more quiet, internal calamity through these subtle external overtures as opposed to the very explicit color blocking mayhem of its predecessor.
While release information is still under wraps for the Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Chaos’, will these be just as big of a hit as the Kobe V edition? By the way, you won’t see this colorway hit the court on Christmas Day this season as Mamba will be rocking the Grinch-themed ‘Christmas’ colorway of the Kobe VI.
