Top 10 Kicks of the NBA Playoffs 2011

Air Jordan XII 'Flu Game'

If you ever needed to reference a product that has been proven to work, you don’t really have to look much further than the Air Jordan XII. During the 1997 NBA Finals, with the series locked at 2-2 against the Utah Jazz, Michael scored 38 points while visibly battling the flu, even having to vomit on the bench as his teammates shielded him with towels. I don’t know many people who would even bother to get out of bed with the flu. I mean really, 38 points?!

Granted, that game had a lot more to do with Jordan’s unreal greatness than the shoes he had on his feet, but hey, for what it’s worth, he was wearing the Air Jordan XII. The kicks have a luxurious leather upper that even has mock-lizard skin lining the lateral wall while a Phylon midsole encases a full-length Zoom air unit and carbon fiber shank plate. As one of the most popular pairs of Air Jordans ever released, the XII’s have often been rocked by numerous Team Jordan players such as Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace, Mike Bibby and Ray Allen.

Don’t be surprised if you see some sick colorways of these during the playoffs.
