Top 10 Kicks of the NBA Playoffs 2011

Nike Zoom Kobe VI 'Hollywood' 3D

Okay, so maybe I lied a little bit in the beginning. I left the Nike Zoom Kobe VI for last because frankly, the Black Mamba is gunning for his sixth ring, currently sitting one count behind Jordan. Honestly though, that’s the reason why his kicks get the most attention on this list.  Can you blame me?

Kobe Bryant is probably the most intriguing all-time player we’ve ever seen. That’s because from the moment he stepped into the NBA, he’s had to do almost everything in the comparative shadow of MJ. Whenever he makes a sick move or drains a clutch dagger, you always hear, “it’s just like Jordan.”

If you’ve ever had to feel the competitive strain of having to function under the glare of comparison, you’d be able to understand how annoying it can often get. At the same time however, it can be your greatest asset towards unparalleled motivation and drive. Critics and haters of Kobe can say what they want, but however which way you want to break it down, no one in the game has worked harder than him on constantly upgrading and evolving his game and the proof is in the pudding. He’s going for number six.

Should the Lakers make it back to the NBA Finals for a fourth consecutive year, Nike will undoubtedly reveal a very special thematic colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI as they did with the Kobe V Big Stage Home and Big Stage Away.
