It took an entire first half of the season for the Carmelo Anthony saga to play out, but in the end, both parties involved got exactly what they were looking for. Melo got shipped to his hometown of New York City and the Denver Nuggets, for all intents and purposes, came up huge with a collection of players that went 18-7 after the trade. However, the spotlight is still on Anthony, one of the best, if not the best, pure scorers in the NBA. How his team performs in the playoffs versus how the Nuggets do will serve as the ultimate judgment statement.
