This championship game has a lot of history both in basketball and in kicks. First this Kentucky team was stacked and is they wouldve won this game they wouldve probably won three in a row. Arizona led by Mike Bibby and Miles Simon ended up beating Kentucky in OT to give Lute Olsen his first and only title. Also this is the first time the Nike Foamposite was worn on the court in public.These are one of the most famous kicks that Nike has ever produced. The whole team was given these for the final four but only Mike Bibby wore them in the game.
