Currently on tour in Asia, Kobe Bryant and Nike Basketball continue to spread the love of basketball and Swoosh overseas.
Nike Basketball is brewing another colorway in an exclusive Black/Gold-White sneaker that looks to pay tribute to his career. On the box label it states, ‘GCR’ which is stated to translate to, “Great Career Recall”. Whether it’s another nod to his career and pasts achievements who knows, but it definitely has a championship look. This colorway is certainly a nice consolation prize for those who missed out the ‘Fade to Black’ Kobe 11’s.
These have a heel tab similar to the white and red horse colorways, meaning the price could retail for $220.00 USD. The black Flyknit looks super clean combined with the metallic gold hits along the swoosh and shozoku logo on the tongue. Nike went along with a white solid rubber outsole to contrast and keep you from slipping if you decide to take these on court.
There is no information right now if these will drop stateside, but the photo is from overseas. Since it’s an Elite model, expect the price to be at least $200.00 USD. We’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available.
