Nike KD 9 Elite Releasing Soon

Kevin Durant has been the talk of the league since he signed with the Warriors last Summer.  With all that buzz, Nike Basketball doesn’t seem to be fazed as they look into the future with a new model for their sniper in the Bay.

This new Elite model for the KD 9 signature features several new updates to the original model.  First off, you have a higher cut around the ankle, with a slip-on bootie that features a lightweight textile material for a snug fit.  This would allow for a more comfortable ride for that number 1 seed Playoff run.  A new feature to the KD line would be this new intricate lacing system.  Never seen this type of arrangement on a sneaker before, so it’ll be quite interesting to see how this would accommodate some players.   Lastly, the Zoom Air and a redesigned woven Flyknit upper returns so those who enjoyed the KD 9, should enjoy this one as well.

Will be interesting to see what Nike Basketball shells out this Playoffs for their signature athletes.  The KD 9 Elite looks to be a lock for many as the KD 9 is a huge favorite for many ballers.  One of the best performers from Nike Basketball last year, Nike has once again perfected the KD model and propelled it to the top of the category.  We also have another colorway debuted by KD in black shown below.

The Nike KD 9 Elite will debut in Asia on February 23, 2017 but should be releasing  in the US soon.  Price point will  be around $160 to $175.  Stay tuned for more details here on Kicksologists.
