Jordan Brand has got themselves a superstar in both Kawhi Leonard and Russel Westbrook. But the clear cut MVP this season has a specialized pair from the Jordan, so let’s have a look.
This Air Jordan 31 Westbrook PE is dressed in black with Oklahoma City hits throughout the sneaker. It features orange and blue combinations on the left and right pairs of the model as each one completes the Thunder theme. On the left you have blue and right you got orange heel brandings. The insole is also customized with “WHY NOT?” branding accompanied with a red Jumpman logo. What’s also unique to this PE is that stealthy Nike Swoosh giving it a very clean profile for the court.
To make it even more special, the design from Jordan on this particular model is not like the retail pairs. Per his request, Russel Westbrook has been giving the Jordan 31 with a modified midsole borrowed from the previous model, the Jordan 29. He’s been playing in this advance AJ XXXI all season and so far, it has helped his MVP case for sure. It would be nice to see these release, however they are only PE’s for his Westbrook’s game tonight against the Portland Trailblazers.
We would like to see Jordan Brand give Russel Westbrook, his own signature sneaker on court. Especially after this season, he needs one as soon as possible. He already has the Jordan Westbrook 0.2, however it is exclusively only for fashion. Definitely not something you want to wear for triple double.
The Air Jordan 31 PE for Russel Westbrook will not release, so enjoy these detailed photos of the model and let’s hope he gets his own signature very soon.
