This is where it ended for Kobe Bryant and his journey to Championships. Not only did the Kobe Bryant avenge his 2008 loss to the Boston Celtics, but these joints are simply beautiful. Can’t get any better than this as far as championship shoes. Nike Basketball at its finest. 
It was almost like a pre-cursor to the Nike Basketball Elite series dressed in gold. The Big Stage Kobe 5’s as a set were simple, yet perfectly bridges both an NBA Championship and a sneaker masterpiece. These sneakers went all the way to Game 7 as Kobe Bryant wore the home colorway as he shot 6-24 that game, but got the job done. Kobe called this fifth ring the sweetest one and man, he’s right.
Being down 13 points in the third quarter, Kobe and the boys needed to dig deep. Many of the players also wore the sneaker including Shannon Brown and Derek Fisher.
